Jaycee Barn at the Fairgrounds, 290 Ash Street, Cochran
Election Day is your last opportunity to vote in the 2026 General Election.
The last opportunity to vote in the 2026 General Election is on Election Day, November 3. You can cast your vote at the Jaycee Barn located at 290 Ash Street, Cochran from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. If you’re in line at 7 p.m., you will be permitted to vote. You must have an acceptable photo ID to vote.
If you haven’t done so already, you can deliver your absentee ballot to the Bleckley County Elections and Registration Office until 7 p.m. on Election Day. The Office is located in the Courthouse Annex at 106 E. Cherry Street, Cochran. Do not take your absentee ballot to the Jaycee Barn. For ordinary domestic absentee ballots, ballots received by the Office after the 7 p.m. deadline will not be counted regardless of the postmark date.
So, hurry to the Jaycee Barn and vote. When you go, go prepared. Take your photo ID and know the candidates. You can review the candidates in our 2026 General Election Guide and the Greater Georgia Ballot Guide.
Voting is not just your right, it is your civic responsibility as a U.S. citizen. The liberties and rights guaranteed by our U.S. Constitution and laws must be defended in every election. We should treat every election as if it were the last free election we will ever have. We must elect candidates who revere the Constitution and the democratic republic that it created, candidates who love and respect our country, and candidates that uphold the values that built the greatest nation in world history.
